The City of Hamilton is observing a moment of silence on Monday, September 19, the National Day of Mourning For Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, in order to pay our respects and reflect upon the life of our Head of State and Sovereign for more than 70 years, the only one most have known in our lifetimes.
The moment of silence will take place at 1:00 pm for 96 seconds to mark Her Majesty’s 96 years of age. I encourage everyone in our community who wishes to observe, to pause at this time to mark Her Majesty’s life, service, and passing.
