City celebrates Frank A. Cooke’s contribution to transit in Hamilton

HAMILTON, ON – The City held a civic dedication ceremony this morning at the terminal located at 1 MacNab Street South (formerly MacNab Transit Terminal) in honour of Frank Cooke. Members of the Cooke family, City Council, City staff and members of the public were in attendance.  

The terminal was renamed in accordance with the City’s Municipal Property and Building Naming Policy. Mr. Cooke is recognized for his four-decade-long career with the Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) and his volunteer service to the community.
